Experience

Coordinator of Video Operations – Longwood Athletics (08/2017 - Present)

I oversee Longwood's Big South Network broadcasting operations as well as the department's in-house video productions. I train and schedule the students from the Communication Studies department along with other interested students on how to work the multiple positions needed in a broadcast.

Big South Network Crew Member – Longwood Athletics (09/2014 - 05/2017)

I was heavily involved in the Big South Network during his time as an undergraduate at Longwood, learning every aspect of the production and ascending to the role of the broadcast crew's top student member by my senior year. As a Lancer, I served as a director, technical director, replay technician and camera operator, while playing a pivotal role in setup and breakdown of the operation's 50-plus broadcasts each year.

Head Videographer/Video Editor - Longwood Athletics (03/2015 - 05/2017)

I served as the athletics department's video editor as an undergraduate and produced a dense portfolio of video content for LongwoodLancers.com. Among my top projects were the annual athletics highlight video and a documentary about the Longwood softball team, titled "Longwood Softball: The Dynasty", which I shot and produced during the team's run to the 2017 Big South Championship. I also teamed up with Longwood assistant director of athletics communications Todd Lindenmuth to win the CoSIDA District 3 Fred Stabley Sr. Writing Contest Award in 2017. I produced the accompanying video of the multimedia piece "Softball Slugger Living Out Hardball Dreams" that won the contest's "Story With Video" prize for District 3.

Video Production Intern – Washington DC Current (MLU) (04/2015 - 07/2015)

I also gained professional experience outside of Farmville, interning with the Washington DC Current professional ultimate Frisbee team during the spring and summer of 2015.
